The Call is Out for the 2026 UAW Constitutional Convention

The Call Letter for the 39th UAW Constitutional Convention has gone out to UAW locals across the country, which means Convention Delegate elections are near!

Here are the key details from the call letter:

  • The Convention will convene in Huntington Place, Detroit, starting Monday, June 15th, at 12:00 pm and ending Thursday, June 18th. Registration will take place on Sunday evening and Monday morning.

  • Elections for Convention Delegates must take place no later than 30 days prior to the convening of the Convention (May 16th). Following elections, all delegates, alternates, and special delegates must complete their credentials and submit them by May 25th.

  • Along with this call letter, your local should have received the number of delegates allocated to each unit (if amalgamated) or to your local overall (if non-amalgamated).
